In this case study, we reviewed Air Transat’s core booking platform, focusing on usability, clarity, and mobile responsiveness. The project involved refining navigation flows, simplifying the reservation process, and enhancing accessibility standards to deliver a smoother, more inclusive and efficient travel planning experience.

We redesigned the flight search engine to offer a simpler, more intuitive user flow. By reducing the number of input fields and using smart defaults, we helped users book faster with fewer errors.


Autocomplete, flexible date ranges, and real-time fare updates created a seamless experience across desktop and mobile.

We redesigned the Air Transat mobile application to simplify the entire travel booking experience, from flight search to final payment. The interface was restructured to minimize friction at every stage: fewer steps, fewer distractions, and clearer calls to action. Intelligent field autofill, dynamic fare updates, and calendar-based selection made choosing travel dates and options intuitive—even for first-time users.


The payment flow was equally optimized, with support for digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), secure credit card integration, and account-based auto-completion for returning customers. The result is a system where users can complete their reservation in just a few taps—without confusion, repetition, or unnecessary detours.

We also ensured full responsiveness across all screen sizes and built-in accessibility compliance, allowing users of all abilities to navigate the app with ease. Whether on a tablet at home or a smartphone at the airport, the experience remains fluid, fast, and reliable.


By prioritizing clarity, performance, and accessibility, we created a booking ecosystem that not only reduces cognitive load but increases user satisfaction and conversion. The application now reflects the brand’s commitment to simplicity, trust, and modern travel expectations.

Every element was crafted to spark inspiration while maintaining clarity and ease of navigation. High-resolution photography, cinematic transitions, and ambient micro-animations bring each destination to life—allowing users to feel the atmosphere of each resort before even setting foot on-site.

To avoid overwhelming users, the interface was built around simplicity.
