A live event companion designed to turn spectators into participants, before, during, and beyond the match.
Interactive Arena
The app transformed National Bank’s VIP area into an interactive hub of entertainment. Guests could place live predictions on match outcomes, play “mental tennis” during set breaks, or snap fun moments at the branded photobooth. A custom playlist feature let users queue their favorite songs in real time, bringing music into the shared experience.
Designed for engagement and ease, the app allowed users to order drinks from their seats, interact with players post-match via live chat, and earn rewards through every interaction. It wasn’t just about watching tennis—it was about playing along. Every touchpoint aimed to deepen brand connection through fun, fluid, and memorable participation.

The logo features the bold red identity of National Bank, with its iconic geometric flag symbol placed to the left of the word "Hub" in clean, modern sans-serif typography. The contrast between the pure white elements and the vivid red background reinforces clarity, urgency, and visibility—while the term "Hub" suggests a centralized, dynamic space for activity and connection. The result is a simple yet powerful visual that merges institutional trust with interactive energy.

Registration takes just three quick steps, giving users instant access to a digital VIP pass. Once activated, it unlocks a personalized experience—granting entry to exclusive zones, interactive content, and real-time notifications. Whether it's a message from a player, a live chat opportunity, or an event happening in your lounge area, the app keeps you informed and in control, like a true insider.

This feature allowed guests to select a track from a curated list of songs playing on the terrace. Users could add their choice from a catalog of over a hundred tracks. A push notification informed them when their selected song was about to play. At any time, they could check what song was currently playing—and what was coming next—by tapping the “Terrace Playlist” tab.
The Live Chat Feature
Commissioned by National Bank through Vibrant Marketing in 2017, this project aimed to create a lightweight event-based app experience for Rogers Cup spectators, offering access to interactive services within the surrounding activation zones. Among these services was a moderated live chat feature that allowed fans to message select players. All interactions were filtered through a combination of human moderation and AI-based screening.
If a message violated the terms of use, a tooltip would appear to inform the user. After two violations, access to the chat was automatically revoked—ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all participants.

A mental challenge where focus drives the game—and brainwaves become your racquet.
NeuroTennis is a brain-powered tennis experience where players control a magnetic ball using nothing but their mental focus. Each participant wears a neural activity sensor that translates brain signals into motion on a digital table. The goal: push the ball across your opponent’s side using concentration alone. The mobile app allows users to book their match, track scores in real time, and compete for prizes—turning cognitive performance into an immersive, competitive sport.
