Brief
In this case study, we created a platform for designing and customizing printed e-cigarette skins. The app enabled users to craft unique visual identities for their devices using patterns, colors, and artwork. We focused on intuitive tools and real-time previews to enhance creativity and personalization.
About the App
Designing freedom through real-time customization and a visually immersive, step-based user journey.
The platform invites users to craft their own device design through a guided, multi-phase experience. Color selection, pattern application, and visual effects are structured across clearly defined panels. The real-time preview at each step supports creative decisions while keeping the user anchored and focused.
Advanced visual logic allows full personalization while maintaining a smooth, interactive creative process. Users explore, test, and refine designs without interruption thanks to a dynamic rendering engine. The result: a playful yet structured system that enhances brand identity and user emotional connection.

Brand Identity
Brief
The Vuse by U logo combines bold geometry and fluid color transitions to reflect personalization and creativity. The split “X” with gradient hues symbolizes the user’s journey and design freedom, while the clean sans-serif typeface ensures modernity. Two colored drops echo ink and individuality in visual harmony.
Printing became a layered narrative, where users sculpt effects through ink, texture, and reflection.
The interface guides users through a three-phase UV print process: color foundation, graphic layer, and surface finish. Each layer is modular, allowing independent control of hue, gloss, and texture.
This layered logic mirrors the physical process, making digital creation feel tactile, real, and production-ready from the start.
Gloss and emboss zones are assigned visually through toggles and previews, simulating real material response. The live rendering mimics depth, light bounce, and saturation shifts.
Each output reflects a blend of digital intent and print mechanics, offering users control without requiring technical knowledge of the print process.
